New page, Articles of Interest. This will contain expanded articles from the
regular newsletter, and writings and Civil War studies by members. Anyone can contribute and are encouraged to do so. Comments on these articles can be included on the webpage.
First item to be expanded is the article "New estimate made of Civil War dead", by J. David Hacker of Binghamton University in New York  via United Press International, Inc.  published : Sept. 21, 2011.
