Since Gary's book is so new there is no Review of his book, but...when I receive one that I can legally post here I will do so. If any readers of this site would like to write one up for us, it would be gladly received and published.
So, I present the following comments:

Excuse me while I stand up on my stump (Gary Yee).

Sharpshooter Press (me, a one man operation), proudly announces the publication of its first book,
Sharpshooters (1750-1900): The Men, Their Guns, Their Story.
Divided into fifteen chapters, it covers the early blackpowder muzzle loading riflemen who delivered death from a distance. From the early American frontiersmen and his German jaeger counterpart through the Civil War and into the eclipse of blackpowder in the late nineteenth century, it is the most definitive and exhausting examination of the early sharpshooter to date. Don't let the 856 page length scare you off as sixty or so pages are just the bibliography and the index. The book is illustrated with over 150 maps, drawings and photographs and one original painting. Price is $45 plus $5 post & packing.
                                            Stepping off my stump now.

And now......
......Feedback from a British Sniper

A copy was given to Roy Chandler (author of Death From Afar, Vol 1-5, White Feather, The One Shot Brotherhood) to Harry Furness, a British sniper who fought in World War II.

Here's an excerpt of his letter to me: "Your scholarly research is really stunning and in such great depth, that it will most certainly become of the greatest importance to any war historian, in fact it will be 'a must have' book for any major historical reference library, it will obviously be accepted as a classic on this subject. Your book 'Sharpshooters' is a masterful account of the facts of now legendary pioneer Sharpshooters in early America and particularly so covering the Civil War period. It is quite a remarkable book."'
